Know what you are commissioning.

Before proceeding, ask Jim to walk you through the written proposal and any applicable workmanship or product cover. The details should be specific to your materials, installation and agreed scope.

01

The written scope

Confirm the surfaces, preparation, materials, finishing details and exclusions. Identify who is responsible for work by other trades.

02

Workmanship and products

Ask which cover applies to the installation and which comes from the material supplier. Request the duration, conditions and process in writing before accepting the proposal.

03

A considered handover

Arrange a walkthrough of the completed work, raise any items that need attention and request relevant maintenance guidance.

04

If something needs attention

Keep your project documents and photographs, and contact Jim to discuss the concern and the appropriate next step.

Specific guarantee terms are awaiting Jim’s confirmation. This page does not promise a fixed warranty period or additional cover; refer to your agreed project documents for the terms that apply.
